New Vehicle Incentive

If you are buying a 2004 or newer vehicle from a participating dealer, the incentive value depends on the vehicle being scrapped and the replacement vehicle. The value is based on the greenhouse gas reduction that occurs when you scrap your old vehicle and replace it with a new one. Please note: 2004 or newer vehicles in excess of 11,000 pounds/4,989 kgs do not qualify for our program. Please note: 2004 or newer vehicles in excess of 8,000 pounds do not qualify for our program.

CO2 Reduction of 9 tonnes or more over 3 years You qualify for $1,250! *Please note, $250 will be provided to you by the participating dealership at the time of purchase/lease. The remaining balance of $1000 will be paid directly to you by the BC SCRAP-IT® Program within 6-8 weeks from the date we receive a complete claim.

CO2 Reduction less than 9 tonnes over 3 years You qualify for $750! *Please note, $250 will be provided to you by the participating dealership at the time of purchase/lease. The remaining balance of $500 will be paid directly to you by the BC SCRAP-IT® Program within 6-8 weeks from the date we receive a complete claim.
